Upon arrival at the airport, you will be taken to your hotel. The remaining of the morning is free to relax and slowly acclimatize.
WALKING CITY TOUR & PISCO CLASSES (HD)
You will start the visit with the famous Twelve Angles Stone and then you will head to the San Blas Church, famous for its beautiful carved pulpit. There, you will contemplate the workshops of the recognized artists of Cusco. You will have the chance to acquire pieces with excellent finishes and see how they are elaborated. Also, you will have time for shopping and to take some pictures at the paca or waterfall, then short walk towards the Pisco museum to learn how to prepare our famous Pisco Sour. Enjoy it.

PISAC MARKET & OLLANTAYTAMBO FORTRESS ( FD )
This morning you will drive to the Pisac market in the Sacred Valley. Originally a place where people from remote communities used to barter their products, Pisaq has evolved to one of South America’s most famous souvenir markets. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Ollantaytambo Fortress where the Temple of the Sun (formed of six gigantic monoliths, whose total weight exceeds 50 tons) and the Terrace of the Ten Niches stand out.

You will be picking up from your hotel to start the journey by bus towards 82 km. After checking in the controls you will start the hiking of 6 hours of walking approximately at the edges of Urubamba River, to Llactapata archaeological site, where you will take lunch. The entire hike will last around 6 hours (13 kilometers or 8 miles) until the Huayllabamba camp.

The greatest challenge! 11 kilometers of ascension to walk through the two highest passages, including Warmiwañusca, at 4,200 m.s.n.m (13,780 ft.). This is the highest point of the whole hike, (approximately are 8 hours of walking) you will enjoy impressive landscapes of hills and peaks and the beautiful half tropical valley. The hike includes the visit to Runkurakay and Sayacmarca archaeological sites. Camp at Pacaymayu.

This is an easy day; you will walk 8 hours approximately (only 16 kilometers / 6 miles) and most of the route is plane and full of slopes. You will have the chance to observe how the geography starts to change, from mountainous and dry, to green and half tropical. In the way visit to Phuyupatamarca and Intipata to arrive, finally to Wiñaywayna where the last camp of the trek will be install.

After breakfast, very early departure towards Inti Punku (Sun Gate), the entrance of the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, from here you will walk down along valleys, approximately are 2 hours of walking to enjoy to a guided visit of this magical place. The city of Machu Picchu is the department of Cusco’s most important tourist attraction. Discovered in 1911 by the American explorer, Hiram Bingham, this city is considered to be one of the most extraordinary examples of scenic architecture in the world. The Incas, using ingenious engineering techniques, were able to transport heavy stone blocks up the mountain side, and once there, they used their excellent masonry skills to produce amazingly polished stones that fit together perfectly.
At the afternoon you will take the train to return to Cusco, and then transfer to the hotel.
