Discover the secrets of the peruvian cuisine. Our culinary adventure begins in a typical “Peruvian Market” where you will find a wide variety of Peruvian products and enjoy unique fruits like “chirimoya”, “lucuma”,”aguaymanto” and “pacae”. We will also visit the exclusive restaurant “La Rosa Nautica”, where you will learn to prepare the famous “Pisco Sour”, by and expert barman, and the delicious “Ceviche” prepared by the cheff of the restaurant. Then you will taste a delicious lunch featuring the most representative dishes of the Peruvian cuisine.

LIMA AT NIGHT (HD)

Discover the beauty of Lima visiting its beautiful architectural monuments. Our excursion shows in details the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima, Plaza San Martin, Lima’s Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Government Palace, among others.

An early morning transfer to the bus station. 

Drive to Paracas by regular bus (equipped with A/C, reclining seats and toilet/washroom).

Upon arrival at the Paracas’ bus station, you will be taken to your hotel.

PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE (HD)

Pick up from hotel to go to the Paracas National Reserve, here we will visit the Interpretation Center of the Reserve.  Also visit a natural rock formation known as the Cathedral, because of the capricious way that has damaged by the earthquake of 2007. Then you will made a  short circuit through Yumaque and Roja beaches where scientist found petrified dinosaur eggs that date are still subject of study. 

Finally visit the Obelisk of Independence.  Return to hotel.

Transfer from the hotel to the pier.

BALLESTAS ISLANDS (HD)

Departing from Chaco pier, this 2 hour boat ride will lead you to the Ballestas Islands located near Pisco city, in front of the Paracas National Park, it is largest coastal wildlife sanctuary of Peru. These beautiful islands are home of thousands of migratory birds, including: pelicans, tendrils, gulls among others, which share their habitat with huge groups of sea lions and fur seals. During the excursion you will also see the mysterious designing over the hill, called “El Candelabro” (The Chandelier).

Transfer to the bus station. 

Drive to Ica by regular bus (equipped with A/C, reclining seats and toilet/washroom).

Upon your arrival, you will be taken to your hotel.

ICA D’ PASO (HD)

In the afternoon transfer to Caravedo. Arrive at Caravedo, after a brief introduction; you will go to the stables where you will see our specimens of Peruvian Paso horses. Make a tour on horseback through vineyards and outside Hacienda La Caravedo, across the valley to the desert, you will make some stops to see crops in the area and take photos, then you will enjoy some snacks and drinks. The return you will make a guided tour with wine Pisco. As a farewell one of our Peruvian Paso horses will present a show to the sound of a Marinera.

An early morning transfer to Nazca.

NASCA LINES OVERFLIGHT (HD)

Overflight the Nazca Lines you will be transferred to the local airport for your flight over the incredible Nazca Lines, drawn on the pampas of the same name. You will see several figures of stylized plants and animals drawn in an enormous labyrinth of straight lines, trapezoids, triangles, and spirals scattered about the desert floor that has remained preserved for about 2000 years.

Notes:

The flight is subject to weather conditions in the area. Groups of passengers may be divided into different flights considering the maximum weight allowed on the plane as provided by law. This overflight is considered a domestic flight and it’s necessary to show the passport at the boarding time.

Drive to Arequipa by regular bus (equipped with A/C, reclining seats and toilet/washroom).

Upon arrival at the Arequipa’s bus station, you will be taken to your hotel.

PANORAMIC TOUR (HD)
The bus will take you to visit the principal attractions of Arequipa city like, the Main Square, Mirador de Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, the Cayma District,  the Outlet Incalpaca, Mirador Sachaca, Fundandor Mansion, Sabandia Mill, Terraces of Paucarpata.

SILLUSTANI’S TOMBS (HD)
On your way to the hotel, you will have a 45 minutes visit, to the famous Sillustani Chullpas, these cylinder stones are 12 meters high and were used as burial chambers by the Aymaras to bury the important leaders. After the visit you will arrive to the hotel.

UROS & AMANTANI ISLANDS OVERNIGHT:

Transfer to Uros, these floating islands are occupied by people known as the “Water Tribe” because they have built their own “Island” by adding periodically new layers of “Totora” a type of marram-grass very typical from this place. Then you will be transferred to Amantani Island, after welcome you will take lunch with locals  you will start a hike, where you will appreciate the local culture and customs. Then you will arrive to Pachatata ceremonial center, a place where Amantani’s habitants deposit every year their ritual offerings. In front it’s another center called Pachamama, where the rituals and worships are offered to the cosmic deities. Return to family houses to take a typical dinner and overnight.

TAQUILE ISLAND (HD): 

After a typical breakfast, transfer to Taquile Island where you will have a four hours visit. You will arrive by the after side of the island to start a hike where you will appreciate the wonderful natural sightseeing, then ascend through a regular pendant slope to arrive to the town, there you will visit the Handicraft Center where you can buy a great variety of handmade tissues with very colorful and delicate designs. At proper time (approximately 13:00 pm.) transfer to Puno, this time you will descend 533 stone steps to reach the main port where you will get on board for a 2.50 hours trip to Puno city. Upon arrival (15:30 p.m.) transfer to the selected hotel.

INKA EXPRESS BUS RIDE FROM PUNO TO CUSCO WITH VISITS ON ROUTE:

Departure for an eight hours trip towards Cusco, the Inka Express bus will stop in some interesting places such as the town of Pucará, Raqchy Temple, Andahuylillas and Huaro church and some old Inca constructions. You will contemplate marvelous landscapes and typical animals like the “llama”, “alpaca” that will make of your journey an unforgettable one.

Upon your arrival at Cusco you will be transferred to your hotel.

PISAC MARKET & OLLANTAYTAMBO FORTRESS ( FD )

This morning you will drive to the Pisaq market in the Sacred Valley. Originally a place where people from remote communities used to barter their products, Pisaq has evolved to one of South America’s most famous souvenir markets. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Ollantaytambo Fortress where the Temple of the Sun (formed of six gigantic monoliths, whose total weight exceeds 50 tons) and the Terrace of the Ten Niches stand out.

MACHU PICCHU ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE (FD)

Early in the morning you will take the train to Aguas Calientes. On arrival a small coach takes you up the steep roads to the entrance of the citadel. Your guide will take about 2 hours through the vast ruins. Machu Picchu is the best known of the Inca ruins, is believed to have been built around the mid-15th century and was “rediscovered” by the American historian Hiram Bingham in 1911. The guided tour of this fascinating place is an awesome experience. Visit the Main Square, the Royal Quarters, and the Temple of the Three Windows, the Circular Towers, the Sacred Sun Dial and burial. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

At the appointed time, you will return to the station to take your train ride to train.
